St Andrew’s Church Hall has been serving the community of Alexandra Park and Muswell Hill since 1922. The now refurbished spaces of the St Andrew's Centre are available throughout the week and at weekends for hire.

The Centre comprises of two meeting spaces with some storage spaces also available. 

The main hall (15m x 10m) is well lit with a wooden floor and high ceiling, and is ideal for large groups and classes. The Norah Linsey Room is smaller (8m x 7m) and carpeted, with comfortable seating, ideal for music rehearsing and smaller groups. It gives direct access to a well-equipped kitchen, and double doors open onto the main hall.

These spaces can be used independently or together, with or without full access to the kitchen. 

Current activities include thai chi, our baby and toddler group, pilates and yoga classes, ballet, music lessons and support groups.

Children’s Parties

The spaces provide an ideal venue for children’s parties with a garden space also available.

'We had our son’s 6th birthday party last weekend at St Andrew’s Church hall and we literally could not be happier with the whole experience from start to finish.  Gay was incredibly helpful at booking us in and was extremely accommodating with our timings and our varied requests (even going the extra mile to specifically measure the ceiling height to ensure we could fit in a huge bouncy castle!). She was so helpful with the entire process.  The hall is the perfect venue for a party - extremely clean, warm and bright and so welcoming.  Multiple parents commented on what a beautiful space it is.   Once the children had exhausted themselves playing, they had their birthday lunch in the smaller room which is ideal for this purpose, allowing the food to be set up slightly separately from the play space.  The kitchen is absolutely spotless with a huge oven to cook multiple pizzas in for hungry children.  We have already booked the hall again for our daughter’s birthday.  We couldn’t be happier. 'We had a fantastic 4th birthday party for our daughter and 3 friends in the hall. Gay was incredibly helpful in the run up, providing all relevant information and a great tour of the space beforehand. The space was spotlessly clean with very easy access to tables and chairs etc. the convenient location of the kitchen next to the smaller hall allowed the party food to be put out then cleared away really easily. We loved having the party here and everything went really smoothly. Would highly recommend and look forward to hiring this beautiful space again. Thanks so much!'

‘I just held my daughter’s 7th birthday party at St Andrew’s church hall and I could not be happier with how it went. From start to finish I had amazing communication from Gay in the office who showed me exactly how everything worked prior to the party, the hall space perfectly accommodated all the guests with room for several food tables to be set up. The smaller room worked great along side the bigger hall space as it enabled the adults to sit and chat without interrupting the  party.  I would highly recommend this space to anyone planning a children’s part, a great time was had all round!

'Every year I search for a hall for my Children's Birthday parties. I came across St Andrew's Church and wow it was the perfect venue! High ceilings, big space, separate area for adults to mingle and a handy kitchen. It is so well kept and just perfect for what we needed. Having said all of this, the best part was,  I dealt with a lovely warm lady who made the process easy and efficient from start to finish. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I will most certainly return back for any parties in the future! Thank you!'

'We held our son’s party at St Andrew’s and we couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience; the hall space is huge and the children had a wonderful time running and bouncing around while we set up the separate room for their tea. It worked perfectly to then bring them through for food and cake and then we had the space to clear away while they were back in the hall. 'We recently hosted our son’s birthday party at St Andrews and had an absolutely fantastic experience. With 40–50 children plus parents, the hall was the perfect space – spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen facilities were excellent, tables and chairs were readily available, and all the cleaning equipment was provided, making set-up and clear-up super easy. The team was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, and the free parking on surrounding side streets was a big bonus for our guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free venue for a children’s party!'
