Thursday: 2.00pm Thursday Club meets in the Norah Linsey Room, St Andrew's Centre. Newcomers welcome.

Next Sunday - Christ the King: 8.00am The Eucharist. 10.00am Sung Eucharist. The Traidcraft Stall will be open after the liturgy. Orders taken for Christmas gifts etc. - 6.00pm Evening Prayer.




Welcome: to any visitors at today's liturgies. Tea, coffee etc are served after the 10.00am Eucharist. Do make yourself known. - An Induction loop is installed for those who use a hearing aid. Switch to the 'T' setting.

Gift Day 2008

Cake Stall: Once again we have been asked whether we would like to run a cakes & preserves stall at St John's Wood Church Christmas Fair [Sat 22 November]. Proceeds from the stall will come to St Andrew's. Offers of homemade cakes, biscuits, preserves and so on are needed. Contact Christine Barnwell for further details, or to offer offer help.

St Andrew's Day, 1 December

Advent & Christmas Resources: Coming soon … Details of books, websites and other resources to help with preparation for and celebration of Advent and Christmas. Material for both children and grown ups. Watch this space!

Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market: Saturday 29 November, depart 8.30am. Chalet stalls, outdoor ice-skating rink etc. etc. Visit: www.winchesterchristmasmarket.co.uk. Some places still available. Grand Prize Draw: St Andrew's Day, 1 December. Prizes include self-catering holiday in Scotland [worth over £500], 4 flights on London Eye, John Lewis seasonal hamper, £50 theatre vouchers. Thank you to those who have returned money and stubs. More Prize Draw tickets available. All money and stubs to be returned before St Andrew's Day.

Advent Quiet Day: Saturday 6 December, 10.15am-4.15pm at The Well, Tottenham. Booking forms available today.
